following positions:
(C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, SP and RP)
Player Pool options include:
All MLB Players
AL Only players
NL Only players
Handles all three scoring styles of fantasy baseball:
Points Scoring
Rotisserie
Head to Head
Once you’ve entered each positions scoring rules and league settings, simply
click on the “Recalculate Projections & Build Draft Board” to sort all associated positional
cheatsheet tabs and build your draft board.

The cheatsheet component of our Fantasy Baseball Draft Tool consists of 10 sheets:

- Scoring : (previous screenshot of scoring rules and league settings)
- 1 for each
of the 8 positions (see 1B example below)
- Cheatsheet : Summary of all positional cheatsheets
Positional Cheatsheets (1B Tab
shown below)
- Each player ranked based on Fantasy Baseball Points which is based off of your league settings
- A column for each statistical category applicable to the position
- Start Auction Value - represents the auction value at the start of the draft before any picks are made
- Current Auction Value -
represents the current auction value throughout the draft. Meaning, as
picks are made and dollars are spent, the Current Value is updated
accordingly. If owners are overpaying for players, the current auction value
will go down as there is less money to be spent on the remaining players,
however, if owners are getting players cheaper than the Start Value,
then the Current Value will go up as there is more auction money than expected
to be spent during your fantasy baseball draft.
- All
cells in white can be modified, the cells in yellow
can NOT be modified. So if you think Ryan Howard will have 52 Home Runs and
not the 48 that we projected, simple change the 48 to 52 and push the
"Recalculate Rankings" button to recalculate and resort all First
Basemen

- Current Auction Value - Let's assume that both Mark Teixeira
and Ryan Howard each sold for $60 during your fantasy baseball auction
draft...clearly overpaying for those 2 players (below image)
- As players are drafted, they are crossed off and highlighted
in red on the individual cheatsheets so you know who is available and
who has been drafted already. Also highlighted in red is the amount that player was drafted for to
easily compare starting auction value vs actual auction value
- Notice that all other players "Current Auction" value has decreased
from the original "Start Auction" value since there is less auction money out there to be spent.
- Not only does those 2 draft picks affect the
other First Basemen (above), it also impacts all other positions as
well, see Third Basemen below (see how the Current Value has decreased
for each player since there is less auction money to be spent during
the remainder of your fantasy baseball draft):
- Same example as before, but now let's assume that both Mark Teixeira and
Ryan Howard each sold for $1 during your fantasy baseball auction
draft...clearly underpaying for those 2 players. (below image)
- Notice that all other players "Current Auction" value has increased from the original "Start Auction" value since there is more auction money out there to be spent.
